- The Web site is nearing its completion!
- All pages at the site now employ a top and bottom frame:
- A JAVA navigation applet has been installed into the top frame.
- Pages and documents will display in the bottom frame.
- The advantages for this type of a format include the loading of the JAVA navigation applet only once (unless you return to the Home page and again activate one of its button links);
and, faster downloads for the pages and documents themselves since no separate page navigation control is required (other than a text menu).
- This format and the JAVA applet has been thoroughly tested with Netscape v3.0, 3.2 and 4.04 as well as MSIE v3.0 & 4.0 browsers: if you
are using an alternate browser or an older version of the NS or MSIE browsers and you experience problems, just drop me a note
to let me know what difficulties youre having. I strongly recommend using only Netscape or MSIE browsers in their latest versions!
- Instructions for printing from frames:
- Netscape: Place your mouse pointer in the frame you want to print, then right-click and choose Open Frame In New Window, then just print that page! Dont forget to close that window or your system resources will become drained with each new window you invoke.
- MSIE: Place your mouse pointer within the frame you want to print, click to register that frame as the active frame, then choose Print... from the File menu.
- All sections, except for Links are now uploaded.
- More articles and photos to come yet!
- Go check it out!
